The major difference lays in the concept. Whilst BioKill® Universal Insecticide has a relatively short-term efficacy (max. 4 weeks depending on surface and environment conditions), BioKill® Long Lasting Insecticide can last up to 6 month. Furthermore BioKill® Long Lasting Insecticide is an ideal product to be used in greasy, dirty environment, where repeated infestation is occurring and outdoors. It is not necessarily stronger but will persist much longer on the surface.

BioKill® Long Lasting Insecticide is an entirely new technology using microencapsulated components. Due to this technique BioKill® Long Lasting Insecticide has an even improved flush out and knock down effect and lasts up to 6 months, hence it is a product which we particularly recommend for problematic areas (food production, warehousing, hotels, outside application and other highly problematic and sensitive areas).

In terms of toxicity BioKill® Universal Insecticide can be considered as practically non-toxic and BioKill® Long Lasting Insecticide as having an extremely low toxicity. The active ingredients in BioKill® Long Lasting Insecticide are in principle of a more toxic nature but due to the micro-encapsulation, the toxicity is being reduced dramatically. BioKill® Long Lasting Insecticide has a faster knockdown and killing effect and can kill certain target organism more efficiently.
